Stockbar is reopening


The Premier of Quebec, François Legault, accompanied by the Minister of Health and Social Services, Christian Dubé, and the interim national director of public health, Luc Boileau, announced that, by March 14, the essential health measures will be lifted. Several reductions affecting all sectors and activities will gradually come into force over the coming weeks. They are announced now to allow organizers and traders greater predictability. From February 12: Inside private homes, Public Health is lifting the capacity limit for gatherings. However, it is suggested to be limited to 10 people, or the occupants of 3 residences. These rules also apply to tourist accommodation units. In restaurants, a maximum of 10 people, or the occupants of 3 residences, will be allowed at the same table. In living environments for seniors: private residences for seniors (RPA): 2 people (caregivers or visitors) at a time, for a total of 4 maximum per day residential and long-term care centers (CHSLDs) and intermediate resources welcoming seniors: 1 person (caregiver or visitor) at a time, for a total of 2 people maximum per day.


From February 14: Resumption of matches for all; End of health protocols for outdoor sports competitions; Capacity for 5,000 people for outdoor shows, with the vaccination passport. From February 21: Lifting of the capacity limit in shops with the maintenance of the vaccination passport in places where it is already required; Reopening of recreational centers (arcades, water parks, amusement centers and parks, amusement centers and other themed sites) respecting 50% of the reception capacity, with the vaccination passport; Resumption of congresses, assemblies and meetings, with a reception capacity set at 50% or a maximum of 500 people, with the vaccination passport; Social activities in a rented room allowed for a maximum of 50 people, with the vaccination passport; Increase in the capacity of places of worship up to 50% of the capacity or a maximum of 500 people, with the vaccination passport; When displaying the body or ashes of a deceased person and expressing condolences to loved ones, a maximum of 50 people at a time will be possible.


From February 28: End of compulsory telework, with recommendation to favor a hybrid mode; Resumption of competitions and tournaments for all, with the vaccine passport; Lifting of the limit of participants during sports and leisure activities; 100% capacity in performance halls, cinemas and sports arenas, with the exception of halls of 10,000 people or more. If there are more than 1,000 spectators, health protocols providing for the necessary measures to ensure public safety must apply; Reopening of bars and casinos, respecting 50% of the reception capacity. These locations will close at 1:00 a.m., one hour after the end of alcohol service. People must remain seated there. Restaurants close at 1 a.m. and end of food and beverage service at midnight; Reopening of indoor places for the practice of billiards and darts as well as other games of the same nature, 50% capacity and mandatory vaccination passport; End of capacity limits in places of worship, with vaccination passport.

From March 14: 100% capacity in public places; No capacity limit per table in restaurants, bars and taverns; Dance and karaoke activities permitted; Social activities in a rented hall: no restriction on the number of participants, with the vaccination passport, maximum of 20 people, without vaccination passport; Places of worship, funerals (ceremonies, condolences) and weddings: 100% capacity and possible without a vaccination passport, with a maximum of 50 people at a time; 100% capacity in performance halls and sports arenas for 10,000 people or more.
